Central Park Zoo

Yesterday I went into New York City with my friend Liz. We didn’t really have any specific plans other than that we both wanted to go to B&H, which is like the Mecca of camera stores. We played around in there for close to an hour (maybe more, I didn’t really keep track) trying out some of the newest camera equipment. Alas, I’m pretty much completely broke, and therefore didn’t end up buying of the cameras I played with. After B&H we wandered our way up 5th Avenue and eventually ended up in Central Park. We serendipitously decided to go to the Central Park Zoo, being the little kids at heart that we are. It was quite enjoyable, though rather small (it seemed bigger the last time I was there, though that might have been because I was smaller…). We had a bunch of fun taking pictures of the animals, some tough conditions though, as shooting through glass is never any fun. My favorite pic of the day is the one above of a sea lion. It was actually one of the last shots I took at the zoo, as we left immediately after. The rest are below.

Central Park Zoo IS surprisingly small, isn’t it? I like the picture of the seal!
