Blue White Game

Saturday was the annual spring practice game for the Penn State football team. We refer to it as the Blue/White game, as the roster is split into the Blue team and the White team and they play each other. The game takes place in Beaver Stadium and gives fans an opportunity to come out and see how the team has progressed during the off season. This year I was lucky enough to get a field pass for the game. Having been with the Blue Band for every home game for the past 3 seasons, I’ve never had the opportunity for a field pass, so getting to go down onto the field and try my hand at some football photography was a ton of fun. Not only did I get to shoot the game from the field, but I had access to the media room, and conveniently as I walked into the media room, so did JoePa for his pregame press conference, so I got to photograph that, which again, was cool.
